Application Details

Autonomous driving is the most transformative application of automotive technology today. CUSP's autonomous driving platform combines deep-learning perception, high-definition mapping, and probabilistic motion planning to enable vehicles to navigate without human intervention in increasingly complex scenarios.

Our perception stack processes data from 12+ cameras, 5+ radar units, and multiple LiDAR sensors to construct a real-time 360-degree understanding of the environment. Object detection networks identify and track vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists, and infrastructure with 99.7% accuracy, while prediction models anticipate the future trajectories of dynamic agents.

Localization leverages pre-built HD maps with lane-level geometric detail, enabling precise position estimation even when GNSS signals are degraded. The planning module generates smooth, comfortable trajectories that balance efficiency with safety margins, while the control system executes steering, throttle, and brake commands with sub-millisecond precision.

The entire stack is designed to ASIL-D safety standards with redundant compute and sensor paths. Over-the-air updates ensure continuous improvement as the fleet encounters new scenarios and edge cases.
